Why I Write & Create
I don't write because I love writing. What I love is sharing a message that I believe is compelling and important enough to go through the great effort of researching and putting pen to paper.
It also so happens that the genesis of both my books is connected with my time living in Russia. Not only did I gain a greater appreciation for freedom and a strong distaste for communism living in Russia a few years after the collapse of the Soviet Union, but it's also where I was first exposed to herbal and holistic medicine. I was living there when the ruble was devalued, hyperinflation shut the country down and devoured people's savings, and for a time, basic foods were scarce. This gave me a major wake-up call regarding the need for a preparedness mindset.
